I have the D2V which has a flip up door to move the top condenser up or down.
Is there any reason not to use Multigrade filter on top of the condenser holder? It would be right below the 75w bulb, though.

I don't have a D2V, Matt, but I don't think it matters. In my Durst L1200 the filter draw is above the condensers.

Didn't they make a filter holder attachment that goes above the condensers? I just saw one on Ebay. If I were you I'd consult the old Omega literature.

Inside the door of my D6 condenser lamp house is a little notice....
“Place filters above the condenser for 50mm to 90mm lenses”
“Place filters below the condenser for 101mm to 135mm lenses “
Have never used filters as I’ve got the dichroic head.
