Well I can't tell you what this hood is called or who makes it
I got it off the bay in one of those "Dont know what these are for"
Auctions that had a few Leica items.... This was included..
There is C&P in a circle (LOGO?).
But the beauty of it is that it allows you to adjust the aptures via a scale on the outside of the hood.
Mike.
I also have a spare FIKUS if you are looking for one!

These old Elmars are wonderful lenses. I have a similar gadget to Mike's, allows the addition of a filter and a modern lens hood but works on the same principle.

Hey Peter, Thats a very nice hood. If you don't mind me asking What/Where/Howmuch?
I'd love the ability to use filters, esp w B&W.

The Leica hood is VALOO, the aperture adjusting ring is VOOLA. Not gonna be cheap. Unless the seller is confused and calls the VALOO a FISON or something like that. Why do I remember this stuff?

I am more interested in the filter adapter. If it's the same for the Summar, or the Summitar, then whoo-hoo!!

The aperture adjusting ring is a VOOLA, the 36/39mm adapter is a SOOGZ, and the hood is a current Elmar-M hood, part nr. 12550. All made by Leica.
