Finally, I'm Legal

I've been using Photoshop for something like 10 years now. Actually, I was using some other program and adobe bought it out and then I started using photoshop.
For most of those years, I had access to legal copies provided by my employers. :angel:
For some of those years, my copy came to me by 'other means.' 😱
Well, today is the day that I'm finally using a copy of photoshop paid for by me and registered to me. 😀

I feel like Steve Martin in "The Jerk" when the new phone books came out.

I was able to get an educator's discount...even so, that's $300 I won't be spending on cameras/film/chemicals/paper.
I'm glad to be using a legal copy, and I'll enjoy being able to register and get upgrades, but boy that's a lot of bucks for software.

I too have a legal copy of Photoshop, but alas I haven't kept it current and upgraded. 7.0 is the version.

Not to show my real age, but back when I was in grad school there was a saying: "There is no such thing as a legal copy of Wordstar." Wordstar was a word processing program of that vintage. Everybody had it, but nobody ever seemed to have a truly paid-for copy, even though there were all kinds of promotions available.

You can almost say the same about Photoshop. Everybody seems to have a copy, even people who don't know what to use it for, but it seems like most of them are not Kosher.

Well, I have two legal copies of Photoshop Elements now, one came with my Epson printer and the other with my Epson scanner. Both full versions and registered with Adobe (two different notebooks). 🙂
