I typically take a walk in the mid day, not at dusk. But, my son wanted to go for a walk when right around dusk.
So, we packed up, and took off to a local park we both like to walk about.
I packed my X-E2 and XF35 and an Sunpak AF5000 flash unit.
Enjoy

The second pic with the yellow lit sky is freaky cool.

I really like the second, fake sunset picture - not as a photograph, but as art - or whatever the combination of the two is called. The "fakeness" of the sunset is a plus IMHO. I'd encourage you to produce more.
One thing I like about it is the flattening of the b/g picture space - it looks quite two-dimensional - while preserving some three-dimensionality with the bench seat with its shadow. The depth conflict between the two makes it visually stimulating.
Also, I like its graphic simplicity. I think it's very good for a first try!

I especially like the first one. Artificial and natural light are joined seamlessly, as though they belong together. Very well integrated and to very good effect. Thanks for posting these.

I must say, I thought the title read 'took a walk with a flask.'

I second the opinion on the second "fake" picture. I normally don't like that kind of thing at all, but I find it extremely effective in that picture.

what?
Good stuff .... keep going !
When shooting depth-y scenes like #1, I would try dialing back he flash so the closest objects do not burn out, and see how that looks.
#2 is kinky
and I like it.
