In the unlikely scenario of aquiring a Contax mount for my M8 , which is the ' ' ' most modern 50mm lens I could aquire ?
I love the sharpness of the Helios which actually seems quite ' modern ' or is it 'cos it's similar to my Pancolor ?
The J3 has a magic to it , but so does my sparkling Fed collapsible in a very different vein .
The prewar Collapsible Sonnar , I have yet to try , but it has been tested as fine .
The I61/ld seems to be cleaner than my late Jupiter 8s somehow and seems promising to add to the list .
But they seem ' better ' to me than my Elmar and Summitar , though I am not sure why .
I am just not sure what to expect , and if I should be looking for a kinda definitive 50mm for digital ?
