First DRFF M8 VS R-d1

For some R-D1 (3 of 3 for me), there might be certain amount of focus difference (focus lag) if you focus from near to infinity, or from infinity to near. I believe Epson does their focus adjustments by starting from infinity out of factory. Hope this helps.

that is a great piece of information. i myself focus from infinity by dint of nothing but thats how ive always done it. glad it comports with how epson wants it!

i wish i could try more lenses but in Israel NO-ONE has M lenses... and all i have is an inustar 26 and jupiter 12 on the way..
gonna be a while until i get a voigtlander color skopar 🙁 and members on here from israel by any chance?XD

So after my Jupiter 12 came in, i found out the lens is the problem and i am loveing the J12!!
