First images of Leica monochrome M being tested in the streets of Kabul

I have a lot of respect for Leica, but even I don't think they could make a camera that small.

Wow, it even looks like an older camera! Technology may have taken a step in the other direction.

Verry practical to be used also as bird house outside of photography sessions. Revolutionary wet collodion technique applied on facsimile paper. Fully weather protected against sunny days. Each body will come with an extra shutter cup against lost. Autofocus convenience via measuring stick. Extraordinary memory capacity: the user can wash his hands inside. Free factory back-up for turning the upside down pictures. The rest of the specifications are to be known tomorrow noon.

You thought Pros had a tough time making a living here.

Kabul street photog.

Absolutely wonderful and very humbling to watch. What an easy time we have with all our fancy gear, eh? And he probably made about 50 cents out of the entire exercise.

Quite a few o these are still in use in northeast Brazil and Bolivia, and probably in other southamerican countries.
