Congratulations and welcome to the land of enchantment, Vickko! My f1 Noct has remain glued to my M9 for two months now, with no signs of abating its hold on either me or my camera.

BTW, the Feb 2011 issue of LFI (can't miss it - picture of a pretty bikini-clad girl on the cover) just showed up in the mailbox this afternoon and it has an article on the Noct. Haven't read it yet, but am looking forward to settling down with it and a nice beverage later this evening.

Well, that's the part I don't like. It is a lot of money concentrated into one item.

And it is far easier to sell ten $1000 items, than one $10K item.

I figure I'm taking this lens to the grave with me, and willing it to the little guy in the photo.

At the time I got really interested into the Noctilux, all of a sudden one popped up here in the classifieds for sale (December 2007). It was offered for a price I could only afford with selling some gear (Leica M4 + latest Summilux 50mm pre-ASPH) but I bought it and never looked back. 🙂 Enjoy your new lens and post some photos !!
