First M3 photos

very cool.. you'll like it :)

and just so you know, it's mandatory that you post at least one self-portrait with the M3.. be creative.. use a window, security mirror, toaster, whatever

and look up our "cameras and coffee" thread, too

Heavystar/Heavy2stars is prompt to respond, and the stuff he sells is good but relatively inexpensive. Somewhat unusually for a seller, he recently told me that something I'd asked about *would not* meet my needs. You said "woof" to your doggie from me? A self portrait would be good, but we could also do with a group photo. Border Collies are intelligent, and there's no reason why one shouldn't be able to manage an M3.

Melanie,

Congratulations on the M3, you will be very happy with the results. I recieved mine about a year ago in very emotionally trying circumstances and I have put her to use. I would look into a CLA for the camera and a lens hood from Heavy2Star. I hope you have an understanding fiance because you passed the point of no return. As for film I love Tri-X, I would also look at Ilford Delta 100 and 40 asa and Fuji Acros Neopan 100. Two very nice film emulsions.

Bill
