First outing with my very first Leica.

Colton, you do a good job of keeping the verticals vertical! You have a good flair for architectural photography! I like your pictures. I'm sure you will keep and use your M2 for a long time.

Thanks Rob. I guess 20 years in construction and house design rubbed off a bit 😀

It gives me some warm feeling that my favorite photographer now has the same camera as me! Congratulations Colton on getting something that, to me, has that "just right" feel.
I highly recommend the Canon 35mm f2 LTM, if you are like me, shy of Summicron money. Most of them have a slight "wobble" to the body, but seem to function just fine that way. I think one would suit your style of photography fine.

Thanks David. It's a pretty special camera. I feel fortunate to have one. I've been drooling over the Canon 35/2 since I bought my Canon 7 last March 😀

Colton, you of all people have the eye to get the most out of a Leica and this is well proven with the set you just posted.

Congratulations and I am looking forward to many more examples.

Congratulations Colton. I always enjoy seeing what you see and share here and the while I abandoned my M2 for digital, there was never a camera I loved more. Way to keep the M2 alive!

Thanks guys!

It's a beauty!

Colton, these images look fantastic. I love the colors. If I was you, I'd immediately start looking around for more of this expired Kodak film!!

Well, I bought 20 rolls and then split it with my mom (she also shoots film), so I have 9 rolls left and I could probably steal a few more. I should probably shoot a roll at iso 50. I bet it will be a lot better in the shadows.

That's a fine looking M2, Colton. Not as many miles on it as I would expect. I'm kind of a sucker for all-black cameras, but the M2 looks the best in chrome.

Congrats on the M2, Colton. It’s a beautiful camera in its simplicity and yours looks great. The M2 and Canon 35/2.0 is a great combination. I often shoot Canon glass with n my early button rewind version.
