Here are some "test shots" with my recently aquired Pentax K10D! Despite the back focus I need to fix its a stunning camera by any means (even in 2021)!
Lens was the SMC Pentax 55mm 1.8 (manual focus only).

I hope you get the back focus solved. But I had great results from mine. This is one my first shots with the K10d, I think it was number 3:
