Perhaps one ofthe finest fixed lens cameras ever made. Your photos seem quite nice, but the images are too small for any comment other than I like the composition. I have my own flickr set of photos taken with this great camera. The results are pretty darn amazing for such a small investment. Keep shooting! (and post a few photos we can actually see! 😉)

Great camera Jazzwave and very nice first pictures. Well metered and good framing.
I've been in Jakarta twice, on my way to Bali and Sulawesi.

For me Canonet is nice camera, but i missed "click" sound

You're right the Canonet has a buttery shutter, it took me 10 rolls to get used to it.
But since your canonet is in excellent shape, don't take too much attention to that minor thing.

My ancestors were Balinese, my grandmother was a Balinese princess (I think there are a lot of them). My father was born in Singaradja. I will sure visit you when I'm in Bali, but that will take some years.
