First photos from my new fed 2 with industar 26

i didnt expect much from i-26 but i got pretty nice results. u can check that out in my gallery. beograd 2006 folder.

I agree; pretty nice results! "pipe" appeals to me and the others from the I-26 are ok also but my favorite from that gallery is "bridge". Thanks for these!
On a side note: I got a "404" error message when I clicked on the gallery link in your signature.

Those are nice shots. Do you us a handheld meter? I am looking at a fed 2, and trying to gage how tough it will be to do exposeures w/o a meter...

yes i use hand meter. but i took that meter from zenit camera and put it in a little box. its not so accurate in extreme light conditions but in normal light is ok.
its not so hard to work without meter but sometimes light is tricky- for example on lody weather it look like its dark but usually it have much more light. so its better to have some meter just to check out. 😉

Nice shots. I like "The Drunk Guy" best. When I look at that picture it's like he was cursing at me. Yikes!

P.S. squeaky_clean...it's not that tough shooting without a light meter. It just takes practice. Make sure you carry a pen and notepad to take notes.

Im curious about the meter from the Zenit put into a little box. Can you elaborate??

about meter from zenit: i took meter from zenit and put it in a box from some broken clock. i put a cell on one side of box and that scale thing on other side. here are pictures of what it look like.

Very interesting! I have been thinking about building some kind of meter myself. I use a polarizer quite a bit and would like to make a meter I could mount the polarizer on since it doesnt have a fixed filter factor.......

Years ago, I purchased something called the "Harris Memory Meter" which I still use to this day when I am out with my Ansco Speedex 4.5 and external rangefinder. Like this example from Zepofan, it is just a convenient extension of the sunny 16 rule, but it really has been useful for to me developing better light intensity awareness.
