Hi
These are some of the first shots with my recently purchased Nikon S.
All taken with the Nikkor 50/1.4 on APX 400.
I can't exactly remind the aperture , but I think the girl was taken with f:2.0 and the boy with 2.8 .
The shutter seems to work fine, the entire film is exposed correctly, though APX400 is forgiving.
I'm very satisfied with the lens, smooth but sharp.
Looking forward to take more shots.
Jacques

Nices shots, Jacques.
My girls have finally gotten used to the fact that they can't look at the back of the camera to see the picture. On the other hand, last weekend I used our digital point-and-shoot (a very good camera, actually) to take some pictures of my nine-year-old dressed up for a party. After I snapped a couple, she said, "Now can you use the nice camera?" and she went and got my Nikon S3.

Thanks a lot for your comments
Laura(2) actually loves modelling in front of the lens, but always comes to have a look on the display. I've to explain her that there is nothing to see at the back of a RF. She recently took her first photoes with my Oly E-500.
Alex (5) is very different. He is a confirmed photographer
and works with his own digital Kodak p&s. His favorite is daddy's D200 with flash mounted.
