Took a J-12 to a show-n-shine out here a little while back and I scanned a nice print from the lens... I like the sharpness it carries, even to the edge of the frame (checked it under loupe). I apologise ahead of time for the dust, my scanner is contaminated!

P.S. Yes, I waited for them to move...but they would not!

Seriously though, I do like seeing if I can seomtimes "fit" more into a picture, including myself on occasion. The bumper let me get both myself and the adjacent car in the shot, but only when you look closer.

Chevy Nomad wagon, `55 or `56 with 265 V8. I would trade the lens for the wagon and throw in the camera and my dog.

Yes, yes, I know... But look on the bright side, at least I'm wearing shorts! :p

Someone posted a photo of a silver pot on their ebay auction about a year back. You could clearly see he was naked (full frontal nudity) by his reflection in the pot.

The black one is a 55 and the red one reflected in the bumper is a 57.
I wish I still had my 55...

Some of us camera nuts think we are spending too much too much time on-line but I did see a website devoted to only those kinds of ebay photos.
(And stupidly didn't book mark it:( )
Love the photo, comp_wiz!

Thanks!
Out of my test roll, I liked that shot the best.... followed by a "stylemaster" logo from my J-8... As for the *bay shots; that's what I was originally referring to by "worse"
Now I just need a nice 35mm finder, this one is laterally off, and not really meant for this focal length...

I went with the CV 35mm metal finder for use with my J 12. Yes, I paid more for the finder than for the lens, but the finder has a nice, flat surface to which I can attach black felt to protect my eyeglasses. See my avatar for the combo on my Leica IIIf RD.
