tmax 100 - high rez scan at my work... slight photoshop editing and 8x10 proportional cropping

The subject and the background are all right but the picture has an almost pinkish tint. I think black and white should be black and white.

i agree re: the red tint.... if doing other editing in PS you might also consider removing the clock shadow. It immediately grabs my attention and won't let go.

Agree about the tint, my question is about the scan. It looks like the image is a little soft, I can't really see a point of focus, maybe on her...maybe on the clock. I have a Yashica 124 and had to have the lenses aligned and now it is pretty sharp edge to edge. On this pic the right side and bottom are softer that the left side and top, could just be the angle of the camera though. Nice pic anyway!

it definitely looks better in b/w.. nice depth.. adding the unsharp mask filter really brings out the details.. I think you lost some sharpness in the scanning process

could you explain further on having the lenses aligned?
