First Roll

I just got back my first roll from my new R3A (the lab tech got the flu so I've been waiting for about 5 days to get anything back.) Here are just a few of the scans. I really didn't do much cropping except on maybe one of the images and didn't do much post-processing either so they are a little rough.

#3 is especially nice. The "first one" (roll) is always special. 😉

Agree, the third one catches the eye. Satisfying results on the camera's first roll. What lens and film did you use?

I was using the 40mm f/1.4 Nokton an Tri-X. For my first roll I thought they turned out pretty well. I can't wait to get out and shoot a couple of more once exams are over.

I grew up shooting film (then recently tried DSLRs) and instead of upgrading my DSLR kit I picked up the R3A and nokton (and I haven't shot a single digital image since.)

On a side note my Artisan & Artist "Evan's Walked" bag just arrived and seems almost custom made for my R3A...probably because it's custom made for M's.
