All were shot on Fortia 50, with the exception of the 3rd, which was Fuji Pro 400 - which I was told had similar saturation to Fortia [liars!]
The first location was an abandoned theme park in japan

Can you resize those a bit smaller for those of us who don't have a 23" monitor? Thanks.

Where'd my Bessa go?
Excellent!
No need for a resize, the only way to enjoy panorama images are to show em big! That 45mm is pretty sharp eh?

I just don't want to have to scroll to see the whole photo, thanks. My monitor only does 11x8 in any form of 'good'.

Sorry Stephanie.
Guess I am spoilt w/ my monitor setup.
Resizing would take effort, but let me compensate - you can let your browser do the work

Terence - you're 100% right, I'm loving the quality of the lens.
When I was shooting, I almost didnt care how the shots came out, I was having so much fun shooting
As luck would have it, almost all of them came out wonderfully. Beginner's luck

If you're interested, a friend has a gallery showing panoramic works by a collection of pano photogs from all over the world. There's also a print swap going on, would love to get my hands on a print of the ferris wheel and the "g-cans" shots. Check it out...

Print Swap
If you'll like to do a swap directly, email me and see if we can work something out.
Cheers!

Thanks Terence!
I'll get onto your site and have a flick around.
That said, if you'd like the full res of any of the pics - just let me know.
One snap that came off that wasn't so visually wow, but the location was amazing is this one-
Yet another abandoned themepark in japan - in the foothills of fuijsan - totally abandoned and amazing - themed on Gulliver's Travels, if you couldn't tell

impressive. How did you scan these?

Sorry for the delay in replying. Email notification magic'd itself off
The scans are a touchy subject. I have a friend who runs a lab, so they ran them through their Fuji (frontier?) scanner. While it worked really well for some scans - namely those - it was pitiful for others - as the person who did it left on the 'autoexposure' setting - so each side of the scan (as they only had a 35mm mask - they had to do two scans) came out different colours and exposures.
I'll hold to my word today and get the hires scans online
Thankyou for the comments and kind words, btw

Yes, I've had the same problem with getting pano scans from my local lab, which uses Agfa machinery. They seem unwilling or unable to do manual matched exposures of the two halves. Same with 6x9cm scans; they have to do two overlapping 6x7 segments. Is there a lab out there that has a setup for doing clean scans of XPan negs?quantum-x said:The scans are a touchy subject. There's one down in Sydney Australia (Vision Graphics) - and the place where I just got mine done gone inspired and got their hands on an xpan mask.. so hopefully.. one place more just got the ability
