HI everyone
I mentioned in my intro post that I'm now the proud owner of an Agilux.
Finally got my first film back from the lab, this shot was one the better ones (plenty of room for improvement) but I'm pleased with camera.

Hi Graham. Nice shot, is it in Bristol? Is your Agifold rangefinder or the zone focus?

Thanks Rich
Not far from Bristol, just north in Thornbury.
Mine's the mark 3 with an rangefinder in need of a bit of tlc. So far I've just been estimating distance.

Pretty camera, don't recall having seen one before. Judging by it's looks it shouldn't take much to put it like new. Well, as long as it's not one of those strange assemblies where you have to take half the camera apart to adjust the rangefinder.

The RF is pretty easy to adjust -IIRC, it's the screw in the middle of the distance wheel. The whole VF and RF mechanism is quite easy to remove from the camera, and there's nothing scary underneath.
On mine, I had to change the RF "mirror", since it was missing of its coating. Other than the shutter cocking lever being in a silly place, the camera's not bad. Acceptably crisp stopped down, and fun to use wide open too.

Very nice. I also have an Agifold, haven't used it yet as it is still in the queue of cameras awaiting TLC, it's very solidly made
. I have an Agimatic with a similar design of rangefinder that's very sweet to use.
Thornbury is quite photogenic; your first picture certainly grabbed my attention
