... a Technika IV run into me and I could not resist ... 😱 Also got me a Fujinon-W 180/5.6, a Polaroid545 holder, and some 100ACROS Quickloads. 😀 I already had a Gitzo GT2941 w/ G1178M head (to small), a cable release and a bottle of Rodinal.

I do not have a 4x5 daylight tank yet so after testing one sheet, I developed it using a Masuko 1201 tank by putting the film between the reel and the inner surface of the tank ...

2 min - f/32.4 - Rodinal 1:50 - 15 minutes dev-time

Scanned with Epson V700 using generic 4x5 holder, 4800dpi and 16Bit gray.
 
What a coincidence 🙂 lens board for my Technika V arrived today.

I shot a few negatives I'm dev'ing tonight. For me, it's getting back in to LF - though with a field camera this time instead of a monorail (which I still have, but don't use).
 
I don't know if it's relevant, but I've always used a 135mm/120mm tank tot develop my sheet film, I used two sheets per tank and never had any problem. 🙂

developed the three photos i shot today, this is the best of them. messing about with tilts and swings. had some developing issues too, i'll get the hang of it soon enough 🙂

When I used to shoot large format with my Technika I used a Paterson Orbital Colour Print Processor (with motor) to process my film. It would process four sheets of 4 x 5 in one go, was very economical with chemicals and the results were always consistent. This was some years ago though, so there may be cheaper alternatives out there now, but here's one on Ebay:

Used Nikkor 4x5 tank and reels, Hangars + hangar rack, jobo drum hand inversion, Jobo expert drum, single sheet in a tray.

The key is the wet dry edge needs to proceed across the film on immersion as rapidly as possible with no back tracking. Second, you can not agitate too much the first full minute. Holds for any system. If you get marks, one of the two things is wrong.
 
Thanks for all the tips !! 🙂 Well ... since having patience is not something I am good at, I have already ordered one of these 4x5 Combiplan tanks ("leak-o-matic" as Keith called it 😀) and meanwhile stick two sheets into my 700ml Masuko 1201 tank ...
