The XT may be great for quick shots, but if you're strolling down a Bangkok street the Leica may be your best bet. Besides, if you're concerned about film & fogging, there are probably decent labs in Thailand.drazin said:im going to honeymoon in thailand. bring my M6 and 35mm summicron.
im debating wether to bring my rebel xt and leneses or just stay with film the whole time.
any suggestions?
Something tells me you'd be better sticking with just film.
Congrats and a pleasant trip!

I've been carrying film, up to 400ASA, in my hand baggage on planes for about 30 years (inc a lot of long haul flights), and have never had a problem.vin, you did fly, right ? any problems with film at airports, or you used only low ISO ?
because of this "issue", I usually prefer travelling with digital

Ciao, Magus!
I like the third most of all, but didn't succeed in scanning it the right way. It is less contrasty, on film, and there are many more details.
I like also the out of focus areas of the first one, and the look (it seems to me really leica look) of the second. The elmar is really great, i think.
Thank you for your opinion!
