Hi everyone,
today my brother brought me back a roll that he developed at school and today I made my first attempt at scanning with the Epson V700. I was quite plesaed with a few photos. With some,My results varied, mainly on the focus. I'm not sure if it was,
a. User focus error.
b. Lens calibration is off.
c. Scanner problems.
Quite a few of my shots came out blurry. I don't think it was the scanner because the shots with a smaller f stop came out quite sharp, I think either the lens is having a problem or I am.

Anyways, here are the few results that came out decently.
Please let me know what you think.
Shot with the Leica M6 and Zeiss ZM 50 1.5, scanned with epsonscan and sharpened in Aperture.

I like them, nice work. My guess is blurry was not caused by scanner unless somehow the scanner was bumped or moved during scan. Maybe operator error, shot another roll to compare. These are very sharp and focused. Did you scann the negs or prints?

These all look good. I particularly like the snow images.

I'll share a couple from my first roll of tri-x also shot with an M6 and scanned with the v750 - So very similar circumstances. Mine were not sharpened or post worked, just some quick scans.

Thanks Guys,
I appreciate the feedback!

jcrutcher- I agree, it probably wasn't the scanner. I have shot another roll that was more precisely focused, I will develop it to see if it was me or the lens. These are scanned negatives using epson scan without any sharpening in epson scan. Then they go into aperture and they get a very minimal amount of selective sharpening.

gnuyork- Thanks! Your images look very nice aswell!
What developer did you use?

Thanks,
Kyle
