I took my Agfa Isolette case to a very good shoe repair shop
to see if he could stitch the top and bottom covers back on.
These had a big stitch in them. He told me machines to do that
have not existed in a long time. Told me it was possible to
hand stitch it but that gets expensive...Told me to go to the
hardware store and get a glue type product called GOOP and
use that to glue the pieces back in. Sure enough, that worked
fine. If you have a real collector piece, get it sewn properly.
If yours is just to give protection to your camera give this a
try. Worked well for me.

I had a thick leather case (the original one) for my yashica TLR that was completely felling apart. But the holes where it was sewed, were still there...so i did it myself with my two hands. Took no more than 30 minutes and it looks like new now.
 
BTW my case was in sad shape when I got it. Discolored and
faded. I used some Scuff Coat? liquid and let it dry followed
by a nice brown paste wax shoe polish and it looks like new.
 
If you can't find "Goop", there is a competitor's product called "Shoe Goo" which is essentially the same thing.
