I took my Agfa Isolette case to a very good shoe repair shop
to see if he could stitch the top and bottom covers back on.
These had a big stitch in them. He told me machines to do that
have not existed in a long time. Told me it was possible to
hand stitch it but that gets expensive...Told me to go to the
hardware store and get a glue type product called GOOP and
use that to glue the pieces back in. Sure enough, that worked
fine. If you have a real collector piece, get it sewn properly.
If yours is just to give protection to your camera give this a
try. Worked well for me.
