Fixing the loose 35mm finder

It is easy to notice that the finder as it comes sits very loosely in the accessory shoes of the Soviet RFs. Maybe it is a common wisdom, but to the moment I used pieces of cardboard to keep it in place, and didn't realize that the cut tabs on the finder's foot are intended to be bent down until it sits in a shoe tightly.

Posting this in case that anyone else here is as clueless as I was yet.
 
Hmmm, my KMZ 35mm finder's foot is solid metal, as far as I can tell... But I'm glad yours has a way to tighten the fit!
 
Hmm.. I have a silver KMZ finder. It seems there's more difference than just color.

(I'll post the shot of the foot tomorrow)
