Flash on a Bessa R2a

I had read somewhere that some flashes could affect the synch circuit of Bessas. I have a Bessa R2a. I just got a Sunpak Softlight 1600A. The voltage accross the hot shoe is (nominally) 45 volts.

Does anyone know about this? Is it a problem?

hi,
i didnt worry about that problem and connected an metz flash another time a sunpack and also an no name chinese flash, every time the camera worked fine.
so i think, d'ont worry about electricity voltage
