Does anyone make an adapter so a modern day flash can be used on an M3 body? I know it excells as a low-light/avavilable light camera, but there are occasions I would like to use a small flash.

Flash adapters are available which will convert the M3 flash plug to PC. They are usually around $10.

You can get a small adapter to plug into the X terminal on the back of the top plate, then use a PC cord to power any standard flash. Adapters are somewhat scarce, but can be found if you search dealers & evilbay - mine way £5 from a dealer in London.

There are some nice adapters selling on eBay these days, although the sellers are asking too much, IMO- like $25 each- crazy. I am considering asking Paramount Cords to make some cables with adapter built in, since they advertise a custom cord service. I expect I'll have to provide the adapters. Anyway, if anything happens on that front, I'll let you know.
