What scanner? Regular fluid mount systems are only made for drum scanners, but I assume you have none of the latter, as these are immediately rendered useless if you run out of consumables (sheets, tape, fluid), so that any drum scanner owner will know where to get them locally.
You can put these drum scanner materials to use with many flatbed and slide scanners that have a glass holder - check the nearest print shop supplies dealer for drum scanner consumables, and search the internet for DIY instructions for your particular scanner.
Do yourself a favour and get the real stuff - the process is already complex enough if you have to mount to a holder not intended for it, you don't want to make it even more fidgety by using unsuitable materials.
