I'm pretty happy with the results of my CV 21mm. But I was wondering if the focus patch in the viewfinder was consistent with the focus ranges on the focal ring?
I ask because I was focusing on something in the viewfinder than noticed that the focal distance range for the selected f stop suggested on the focal ring was inconsistent. I forget exactly what the distances were and I certainly did not use a laser ruler to measure but did not seem right.
I use the zone focusing for street a lot so this struck me as a concern.
Also this is not like a fisheye where you can set it to infinity and forget it right?

nobody special
I shot my CV 21mm for well over a year only zone focusing just as I did with my CV 24mm. Only when I loaned it to a friend for a weekend did he tell me that it actually was RF coupled. Nice to know but I still only zone focus it.

Really great to know. Thanks.

The focus via the rangefinder should correspond to what is marked on the focusing ring. You probably need to do some focus tests with a yardstick to be sure that the focus is accurate wide open and up close.
