Foldable 35mm sleeves

Back when I used to get my negs developed at the lab they would hand them back to me in these really cheap paper-ish, see through-ish sleeves. They didn't have any holes on the sides for binders or anything and they you could fold them up real easy. I have looked everywhere and for the life of me I can't seem to find them.

I am trying to organize my old negatives and put them in paper envelopes titled, dated, etc... I want the negative sleeves to be able to fold so I can just slip them in the envelope. Does anyone know where I can buy these specific sleeves or have any other ideas/suggestions?

glassine envelopes? are those the "cheap paper-ish, see-through" things you talking about? actually the are quite durable, archival, and good protection. unfortunately you're very unlikely to find them anymore.

Do a search for "Print File", or other poly something negative holders - they go in a regular size binder.

You mean the A4 sized glassine sheets into which you can slide five or six strips of 135mm negatives (six shots on each strip) ?

Or do you mean the envelopes of the same glassine with the size of one strip of six 135mm negatives? After putting the strips into this envelope you fold it closed . . . the strips simply lay on each other. Hard to imagine for those who don't know the system, I use them since the early eighties.

I use the latter and have bought them in Paris from a place called Artista in rue Mouffetard. But it has been awhile and I hope they still have them

Not sure if the sheets for the entire film are still around.

I remember some variation - they came on a large roll and I think they might have been from Hama or something - we used these for the customers' negatives.

Possibly something like this from http://www.thesleevingco.com/products.html - M-356 Negative sleeving rolls.
