"Follow my heart to England" photobook project

I'm also enjoying your images, tuanvinh. As Charles said above, this is quality photography. Congratulations and thank you for sharing.

I have to add, you show off Tri-X at its best. What a film!

hi Vinh;

some nice photos i've not seen before. it's good to put them in a collection.

thanks bro. for a while, i stopped sharing the photos due to being busy or my friends dont really care about BW photos of random strangers. the photos only mean for my self haha, my daily life.

Some absolute crackers there, thanks again - there's a real timelessness to so many (it helps that much of Cambridge is free of motor vehicles, you can actually take in the buildings and the people without them!

Lovely shots …. there I`ve said it again.
Brings back happy memories of Cambridge when daughter went to Clare college and was married there too .

for sure the city is so photogenic. but also there are a lot of small villages in England that i have been to are also timeless.

that's my plan to get married in Cambridge as well, hopefully next year when this Covid is all over.

Well congratulations in advance and I`m sure that`ll be possible .
Cambridge was the first time a saw Barnack Leicas .
There was a shop , back in the `7Os ,across the road from where those two chaps are standing in your last shot.
Had a window display full of them as I recall.

Thanks Michael. Yes Campkins Cameras is still there and still have Leica on display but less and less every year. they have more digital cameras now, gotta catch on with customers. I'm not sure if i ever buy anything from them. I found the London dealers often have more stocks, mwclassic and such.

That`s a surprise .
I remember looking in the window ,be in the early seventies ,and being amazed at the prices :)
Probably a false memory but I recall they were in the £400 to £600 price bracket which was astounding to me then.
I was using a Chinon CX which I`d bought for £25 from Dixons .
Still have it with the 50 and 135 lenses.
I used that kit for years .
