Since fomapan is made in the Czech Republic, do any RFF'ers based there know if it is possible to get it cheap from within the country?

I've seen the materials on sale in the Czech Republic for good prices, but is availability a problem in Bratislava?

No problem to get Foma films in Bratislava. Well, no problem - you can get it at least in two shops.

some users have reported that the prices abroad are cheaper than here in Prague. I can always stop by their factory shop later in Prague. I need Fomapan 400 for my Contax IIIa

Last year they were selling it in Lamac Tesco! All gone now. Where are the 2 shops, and what price is it here?
Thanks

Foma has a factory shop in the center of Prague, there I found the prices
lower than anywhere else in Prague. It is a very small shop, blue on the outside, which can be found in a little square "behind" the avenue that ends with the Museum of Natural History, I think.
the address is:
Jungmannovo nám. 4 , Praha.
I think nám. = square, some of the check/slovak RFF's correct me if necessary!

Definitely, on Jungmannovo Namesti, near the Rakousko Kulturni Forum, it's close to Metro B exit Mustek

That's exactly it, now I remmember, "Mustek" was the word my sister used to repeat over and over every time I asked for directions!!
(my sister has been living in Prague for the last 14 years, happily married to an awesome
D ) bluegrass guitarrist, but that's another story)
As for the prices, i dont remember exactly. But what I remembered is that they were cheaper than the photo shops at Vodickova (Skoda photo...).
I even compared the prices to www.fotoimpex.de , which is almost the cheapest (great guys, great service) online shop I could find around here (north of Europe), and the differences were much tighter.
I do not know whether the Foma factory shop ships overseas, but for that I would without a doubt check fotoimpex.

during my trip to Prague last autum the prices at the wondefull foma-shop near mustek station were higher than at fotoimpex in Berlin.
So I decided only to buy products I can't get in germany like some speciall papers.
The shop keeper, a midaged women, was very, realy very helpfull so I bought a 17m roll fomapan 100.
When you visit Prague as an RF photographer and a film-self-developer and a darkroom enthusiast than this shop is more than a must have been vistited!
But if you compare prices, than you have to know, b&w photographie changes to a luxary hobby in Prague and all over the world, so prices will increase in future.
Zdenek, who lives in Prague, told me that there are only professionals who buy these products and so they are not as cheap, as they were 1ß years ago.
(I hope my bad english can be understood ;-( )

Yes it is nice small shop, but prefer Skoda foto @ Vodickova. Fomapan 100 or 400 for 88 CZK

I also surprisingly found that Foma film was less expensive at FotoSkoda then an the little Foma shop.
If you know where the Tesco store is in Prague, come out the front door, turn right (in the direction of Wenceslas Sq.), walk down the block past (one of the many) Mustek subway stops, continue another ~20 meters and it will be on your left hand side.
Fotoskoda is a 5 minute walk through the park that is across the square from the Foma store.

Funny, I always thought Foma films must be very cheap in Prague, that's what people told me many times, so I started to look around and found that the cheapest source these days seems to be a mailorder house in Germany, though their prices include the hefty german 19% VAT (which, I think, is not applied for export):

(I am not related with that company, but I know they are serious)
