The letter X has really been popular in the last couple of years, at least for camera names and models.

So perhaps Leica M X?

Though that would somehow immediately remind me of Pentax MX...

"The new M" - just like the previous version, but more expensive and more gimmicky.

Also, the don't expect it to be supported after 2 or 3 years as it will be obsolete and replaced by the next "the new M"

I'd guess ME-for-electronic, with EVF+focus peaking, to run alongside the M9, with software correction for R lenses, but that's pure guesswork/fantasy. I'll know in less than 55 hours anyway, so I can't get too excited. As you say, just for fun...

Cheers,

R.

M10 for the traditional M, but if they release another lower end camera, then I bet it isn't a M.

Nice one Donald.

I'm going with:

M-This You Little Internet Bitch Experts Who Didn't Think We'd Survive.

MX, to go with the ME, logical considering the secret co-operation agreement with Pentax.

Ricoh/Pentax just got a patent for a M-mount with built in macro step ring.
