The reason behind this was that someone posted it to a huge epic long thread about historical Los Angeles and how's it changed over years using new photos and historical photos. If anyone is interested (and has lot of free time on their hands) this thread is astounding fun to roam threw

On another amusing note about flickr, I've recently had a huge number of hits on sereis of photos I shot about 8 years ago at a camping scooter rally in Central California. The event was called "Hedonism" and really is was just a camping trip. Anyway, these photos have been badly over mined because of the tag "Hedonism" was used in them. I have to chuckle that people are looking for (bad) pornography events on Flickr and my excitedly tame photos come up instead!

Most viewed 8,000 plus since Sept. 2013. Took 2 min to set up and shoot. Made with Nikkor 55mm f2.5 cost £50. Should that tell me something 🙄

I don't have a Flickr stream, but here is my most posted image. I have seen this picture (which I took and posted to my blog in 2004) at schools, businesses, lawsuit happy trial lawyers, and even NASA:

It's the light, and toxic, element, beryllium.
