heh...i could put that next to the glowing phone booth sign i 'liberated' in university and which has subsequently moved with me everywhere, despite the very vocal protestations of my beautiful (but clearly tasteless) gf. heh.

So, what do you think was used as a model? I'm thinking Canonet GIII QL17 -- shape of the window, placement of the shutter button on the wind lever axis, rewind knob's "peaked roof" style. (Am I a total geek or what?)

Hmm. Looks like the FED 2 I got from the Ukraine. It glows in the dark -- except you don't have to plug it in. Let's see...what's the name of the town...Cher.....something🙂

Pick it up for a tenner, then spray paint it black with a red dot and put it on the ~bay again. Caption it with "I'm no camera expert, but I see no reason why this camera shouldn't work"... 🙂

Looks more like a little Olympus Half-frame to me.

Now I know what to do with broken cameras that can't be fixed. Take out the shutter, bulb behind it, compete with Maglight for illumination.
