The photo is of my local area: Freshwater and its beach in the foreground, Queenscliff lagoon and beach leading to Manly beach and village in the centre, with Sydney harbour on the right, opposite Manly beach. The fish and chips are very good, though expensive.

I don’t know the proper name for this. It’s not a rainbow. It looks like a crepuscular ray that’s diffracting light. It was fleeting but pretty.
