I had a change of plans this afternoon so I went driving around through the little towns around me. Got 4 good shots so far of brick walls. This is a cool little photo essay. I'm shooting them with the Hasselblad on Ektar 100 colour film. I think 12 Walls would be a neat little Essay. Should be done by the end of the weekend.

This shot was taken just to shut my wife up since she was still griping about the roll of brick wall shots I had just done a la your wifes cartoon to test a a "new" used lens

Hmm, perhaps the "masking" technique is a way to go. Just need to find something that might be considered remotely interesting in front of a nice straight, level brick wall then. What about I place her in front of brick walls on the pretense of making a portrait of her? Oh, by the way, she's not my wife. Haven't been able to coax her into it yet. I think she's too smart ;)

Brick Walls!

Brick Walls!

Sometimes "it feels like talking to a brick wall" but as has been said " there are brick walls and there are brick walls"!!!
