Formal photographic qualifications - any value?

l... sadly, I've never found a good Internet "photo critique" forum (yet)... all too inbred or nice or nasty to truly be useful...

I'd me more than happy to join in a forum of that sort if you wanted to start one. Someone once said "writing is easy - you just sit in front of a typwriter and open a vein". Time to bear a photographic jugular?
