Fuji is following the pattern they established decades ago. They end production and only announce the discontinuation of the product well after so there is no chance of the product returning. They probably ended FP-100c 3 years ago after looking at the numbers from the previous years, so all of the recent interest in this film does not register with Fuji. Fuji will sell every single remaining pack and still claim "reduced demand".
I am actively promoting a global boycott of all Fuji products. Especially Digital.

Then you are the enemy of all film enthusiasts.
If film shooters would follow such a stupid and completely counterproductive boycott we would loose the best films on the market:
Velvia 50
Velvia 100
Provia 100F
Acros 100
Pro 160 NS
Pro 400H
C200
Superia 200
Superia X-TRa 400
Superia X-Tra 800
Superia 1600
Industrial 100
Industrial 400
Instax Mini
Instax Wide
And Fuji is running several big labs in some countries, offering very good quality at very low prices for film development and silver-halide prints.
Kodak has shut all its labs 11 years ago.
No other film manufacturer offers such a broad programme of different film types, including some niche films.
Kodak for example was very short before stopping film production completely in fall 2014 (statement by Kodak CEO Jeff Clarke).
At Fujifilm that has never been a topic.
This general Fuji bashing is stupid and only hurting the film demand.

It's worse than that! They established this pattern hundreds of years ago! (probably)
Even now the corporate fujimonsters are sitting in boardrooms drinking sake, planning to make an announcement tomorrow that the are discontinuing production of Fuji Coloria, a film they haven't even introduced yet!
Boycott the things! Even the digital ones!

Hopefully that works out and hopefully they can bring back fp3000b. I just shot my first picture with that and wow!

All those films listed Fuji will kill, and more likely they are all dead since they've most likely already made the master rolls and will just spend the next years slitting and packaging.
Especially 400H. Just because YOU like and use Fuji products doesn't mean Fuji won't kill it; in fact its more likely Fuji will kill it BECAUSE its popular. For all of the products you listed there are just as many that Fuji killed.
Support a film manufacture that actually keeps their products relevant and accessible like Kodak and Ilford.
Fuji won't bring anything back and never will.

Not quite. Florian Kaps, who will be talking to Fuji, is no longer associated with IP.

Didn't Kodak kill Kodachrome. Didn't they kill P3200? Didn't they kill off their whole E6 line? Didn't Kodak kill Technical Pan? Didn't Kodak kill Panotomic X?
I think you need to take your rose colored, anti Fuji glasses off and get real.

Kodak still makes Tri-x and Tmax 400. Fuji Killed Neopan 400 with no replacement.
I'd say my Fuji glasses are closer to *** stained rather than Rose colored.
You can go ahead and use whats left but I'll be the first to laugh when Fuji kills your favorite film citing "low demand"

I'll go shoot a roll or Velvia or Sensia or Provia...tell me what E6 film you gonna grab from Kodak. They killed it off with no replacement. It seems if Fuji does something, it's bad...but if Kodak does it, you make excuses. Fuji makes plenty of great film of a larger variety then Kodak. Your anti Fuji crusade and tirade is ridiculous.

I do not think large companies kill part of their production just for the desire to do it, it's always a question of figures. To be profitable productions need a certain amount. Less demand, less production, higher costs and at certain point it is no more worthwhile.
Simply like that. We do not like when it happens, specially when this hits one of our favorites but the world is changing.
In the case of FP-100C going back to the original point of this thread I am upset, unsatisfied and shocked. I'm ready to pay an higher price but till a limit, which for me is set around 15 EUR (where I live was around 10 EUR before the announcement) but so much I love shooting the Land Camera I'm not ready to pay much more. So I have to accept the consequence...my beloved film will disappear...

I feel like Robert does here. There is a limit what I will do about finding/buying some film type. Move on in life.
I used Fujichrome film exclusively for over 25 years to save money over buying Kodachrome, so Fuji helped me save money.

REALLY glad I didn't pull the trigger on that Holga-roid back I was looking at. Same thing happened when I received the first version of the back. Film became impossible to find within a month.
I agree a pack-film replacement would be an amazing startup. Just wish I had the millions needed (probably) to make it happen. I think, if logistics work out, this would be a valid next step for impossible project. Would love to see that happen. What they've done w/ 600/SX-70 film is amazing.

Finally at home...
I really hope that Mr Kaps will be successful in one way or the other, but I doubt that Fuji will change their decision. Perhaps they find a way to outsource the production. That would be amazing.
Despite the high price, I buy products from Impossible because they allow me to enjoy my Polaroid cameras. And if some way was found to continue the production of FP100c, I would be more than happy to pay a bit more for a pack. Not on a regular basis, but every now and then.
I agree that Fuji will send more and more film types into oblivion. That's their future policy and we won't be able to change that. But even with Fuji completely chickening back from the film market, there will be film left. We probably will have to pay twice as much as we do now for a roll, but I believe that I will still be able to shoot my M6 in 10 or 15 years, surely not with Fuji film, perhaps even not with Kodak, but with smaller brands and perhaps only in b&w.

Sorry, but that is a lie.
Fuji is running the production for Instax film in 3-shifts per day, 24h continuous production (no other film manufacturer is doing that!).
It is their most successful photo product.
And Fuji recently introduced a new design for their film packing.
No one would invest money in that if he wants to discontinue it!

Kodak keeping its products relevant?
Kodak is the manufacturer who has killed most of its films! No other manufacturer has killed so much products!
In autumn 2014 Kodak was intensively thinking about stopping film production completely!
It looks like you are another victim of Bellamy Hunts (japancamerahunter) stupid Fuji bashing campaign.
