frameline lever problem

Hi

I've question for my leica M6 with leica 21 mm f/2.8, when i attach lens to body the preview lever is set to far right this normal for wide angle lens.

but i think if i keep lens attach to body a mouth the preview lever will lose tension. or it broken or anything will happen?
