framelines gone/crazy quote

so for a few months now my m6ttl framelines have been stuck on 35mm. fine by me for a while as i just used my 35 lens. eventually got around to sending it for an estimate / cla. rangefinder was a little out so repair guy fixed that. cool. but apparently a part is broken which is why the framelines are stuck. they came back for a couple of minutes one day a few weeks ago, then went again. got a quote for €500 for the new part 😱 wtf! i thought something just slipped out of place, seeing as they came back momentarily then went again. is €500 realistic or am i being had???

you could probably send it to solms for less than that and get it done properly.
