Are there any differences in the framelines displayed in the M7 0.72 vs. the 085 version? Obviously the magnification is different, but are the pairings any different?

Thanks

Eelco above is correct. I have both bodies and the pairings are identical: 35/135, 50/75, 28/90. The only difference is that with the 0.85x body the 90mm frameline is on it's own in the VF as there is no 28mm frameline, so you use the whole of the VF for 28mm.

Eelco - perfect, absolutely perfect. Given that I tend to favor 35mm+ FL's, the 0.85x finder on an M7 looks the way to go.

Question - how'd you create the VF pics?

I love 35 mm to !
Don't want to miss my 28mm frameline.

135 mm & 90 mm I use a view times in a year.

28 mm & 35 mm and the Holy 50 mm are my favorit lenses.
I use a 0.72 :<)

It makes a 0.72 a 0.90 (Order No. 12 004)

Now here's a kicker - I wear glasses.

Well, so do I, and it puts us at a slight disadvantage. But I'm happy with the M7/0.85. Also, I've ordered the 1.25 magnifier which should make shooting with the 90mm cron and the 75mm Summarit (when it arrives) easier.

Thanks Harry. That 75 lux seems like a hell of a lens - everywhere I turn people sing it's praises.

So would I if I had one, but I was referring to the f/2.5 Summarit that is to be available this month, or next. I'm in line for one at my local dealer.

BTW, does anyone know if any of the the separate lens hoods for the new Summarits are rectangular rather than circular?
