Still smarting from dropping my Mamiya 7 and damaging the lens, the R-D1 steps up for a quick morning shoot in Frankfurt.

Hi Roundg. I haven't been to markets as I am just passing through. Do you know the significance of the locks on the bridge?

Yes, the locks are a testament of (unbreakable) friendship and/or love between the persons who put them there. You can find hundreds of them on a big bridge crossing the rhine in Cologne. It's just like leaving a heart engraved in the tree bark.
 
Great shots and a great camera. There are also hundreds of locks near the Uffizi Museum in Florence, Italy that we came across during a visit there last April. Amazing.
