Does anyone know what's up with Freestylephoto.biz?
I placed an order (quite large one) on 21st of Nov, all items on stock.
Today my order is still "On Hold" if i check the orders history on my account on their webpage. Moreover, they still did not charge my credit card.
And, they do not answer me, neither my question sent through the "contact us" form on the webpage nor my direct e-mail to someone from their staff called "Sherry" .
Before i placed my order, I asked a q about an item they have and got almost instantenous answer from this person called Sherry. Then I asked another q about shipping and again, she was very fast and helpful.
Since then, nothing.

Is there stg wrong with the shop? Or is it normal that they don't update the status of the order and in fact it's on its way already? How about the payment, why was there no CC charge yet?

any help would be appreciated...thanks!
 
never had any problems ordering from them before, but sometimes companies will need to verify your credit card. it happened to me when i bought a d200, and the folks at BandH were trying to call my phone number that was linked with the card (for verification) and that number happened to be at my parents house and no one was home to give me the message.
 
yes there's something written about verification of CC on first-time international orders, however they did not contact me on my mobile, neither do they answer my e-mail question so, dunno!
 
give them a phone call. You should have gotten your stuff ages ago.

IMO something is wrong internally right now and has been for a few years. I noticed this when they lost the Domke account. They used to be a big Domke seller.
 
Freestyle has been my first choice in film, chemicals and such for the last year or so. My last delivery was about about 6 weeks ago. Only five days from order to delivery across country.
