We are finally about to get the book about our 3-year long round-the-world adventure published in English!
"Two Estonians, Margus and Kariina, set out on a motorcycle journey around the world. They completed the circle 1,127 days later, having ridden more than 170,000 kilometres through 70 countries on all continents except Antarctica. Surviving altitude sickness in the high plains of Bolivia, riding the Dalton Highway in Alaska, being evacuated by army in Pakistan, and spending eleven nights in the no man’s land between Angola and Democratic Republic of Congo are just a few of the adventures they lived through while on the road."
The book that we published in our mother tongue, Estonian, was awarded the Travel Book of the Year. We've had too many requests to have the book in English, hence it was a natural step to make it happen.
It will be hard cover premium full-color paper book, 320 pages, one book weighs over 1kg, hence we've really put a lot of work and effort into design. A layout that combines a nice coffee table photobook with a textbook of tales from adventures from remotest places of the World.
If you're interested, there are two options for getting your hands on that freshly printed book:
1) throw in a punch on our kickstarter project to obtain it for a bargain
2) buy it when it becomes available on Amazon (hopefully around December) for a bit more
If our printer keeps it's word then the book should be ready for shipping in the beginning of December, so right on time for Christmas

Great selection for the prints, Margus!
I've been following your and Kariina's travels and have been blown away by the superb quality of both the images and from your drum scanning. My very best wishes for a deserving project!
kind regards,

Thank you for the kind words, Lynn!

That's odd, the thing should work since any credit card should be fully universal via PayPal. Can't try myself. What type of a card you have, VISA or Master or anything else?
I'd gladly write to the kickstarter guys to find out what's the issue.

I tried three different VISA cards, all were rejected in the PayPal process.

Got an answer from the Kickstarter guys, they said they're not sure, since PayPal system is out of their competence.
Can you guys remember at what stage it gave you an error? Before or after doing the payment?
Many thanks in advance!

I get all the way to clicking "Agree and Pay" in PayPal, and then get this message which appears no matter how many times I click "Agree and Pay".

My experience with paypal is that if I use my paypal account, which is attached to a credit card, to buy stuff outside of the U.S., it works fine. If I try to just use a credit card through paypal without going through my paypal account, my bank rejects it. They reject anything I directly try to buy from anywhere in Europe with the credit card, saying there is to much fraud coming from there.

I just pledged and had no issue with a PayPal/Mastercard combo...
Can't wait to see the book, I really enjoyed your recent work from Iceland!

Great Project! I have just spent 38 EUR via Paypal, it worked fine for me (but it was from my Paypal balance rater than a credit card).

Cheers guys and massive thanks for your support!
Good to know it works (more-or-less). I've sent the info to the Kickstarter guys, but not sure they can do much about the PayPal system.

An update: we just got our proof from the printing company, it's really a lovely book to behold, look and read.
Something for those long winter nights to get inspired, makes a really great gift too.

Is there someway to access the kickstarter project besides going through Facebook?
I am sure the photos will be stunning.
Thanks.

Hi Larry,
I also don't have a FB. You should be able to create an account from "Join" link when you click the "Back the project" button.
Or use this link directly:

Many thanks in advance,
