Yep! I'll be glad to participate with my FED2 with some landscapes.
So, could you confirm the deadline on June 15th?

june 15th would be fine... given the fact that this is not an official contest, you could be late a couple of days, i don't think anyone would mind.

Okay, the 2011 FSU competition is offically open :) So lets all get shooting....

By popular and democratic vote the themes are:

Theme 1. Landscape 22 votes

Theme 2. Transport 15 votes

Theme 3. Abstract 20 votes

Nb. Remember, you can enter up to "3" images in each of the three themes. All themes are open to interpretation, particularly Abstract. The most votes in each theme wins! No cheating, we're relying on your honesty here. Good luck!

Hmmm, this weekend should give me the oportunity for some great transport pictures. Time to break out the Zorki I again.

I have a divine J3 that I'm in love with, but no FSU film camera to mount it on!
Will you allow me entry if I promise to only submit in-camera generated jpgs? That's as close to film as I can get I'm afraid. To be fair, I think it should be allowed because the lens and the film contribute far more to the image than the camera body.... and I don't see any rules about using only film manufactured in the FSU :Op

Alright, got Transport covered this last weekend with my Zorki I and J-3. Next weekend should give me a good chance to shoot landscapes and abstract at Landschaftspark Duisburg-nord :)

hmmmmm.... in my opinion no. I agree film and lens contribute more to the final image (not to mention photoshop/lightroom :) ) but it's also beside the point..... the point being, making use of now obsolete, difficult to use, erratic and imperfect FSU camera's (& lenses).... :bang: But hey, Im not the one who makes the rules around here.....

Boy you sure have a low opinion of FSU gear ..............Chuckle Chuckle.............. Obsolete thats like calling a 1992 ford escort obsolete...................... Kievman

Oh wow!! started a week ago! OK! well transportation will be easy, as I go in for coffee in the morning I can just trun around & shoot my truck. :D It's been raining a lot around here anyhow. I can catch up.;) Abstract is the weirdest light leak...right?;)
