FSU camera shops in Poland (Wroclaw) ?

Hi,

I am planning to visit Krakow in mid november. I would like to ask for an update to this thread, just to know if someone else could provide some more info about second hand camera shops and photo shops (in case we need to buy some film).

Maybe you can find some Polish photography forum and ask there. I dont live in Poland, but in my country, FSU cameras in antique stores and at market are usually in bad condition and expensive, while good cameras come from collectors or other enthusiasts (cheaper too). I dont know the situation in Poland, but I can assume it's similar.
 
I did buy a Kiev 4 in krakow; unfortunately I can't remember the store. There's a good s/h photo shop maybe 250m down a street off the main square, my guess would be on Wisina or Golebia; they hada lot of equipment, altho not all the Kivs they had were working. THey told me about another guy, nearby, set in a kind of tiny square or yard, who was more knowledgeable; we went through the camera together - he had things like boxed, later Kievs, was enthusiastic, and his prices reasonable - most of his stock was cheaper Japanese cameras, obviously for students etc.

In both cases there was a fair choice, although I dind't know enough about Kievs then to judge the prices of the more obscure items. However, any time spent wandering round Krakow is well-spent, in my book.
