I picked up the 14mm lens today, one week after it's release. So far it seems to be a great lens. In the box there was the lens, hood, carrying bag, caps, and a memory card with a firmware update.

The first thing I noticed is that this lens has very good manual focusing. To focus manually, you pull the focus ring backward, this exposes the focus scale. When focused manually, the focus rings stops at infinity and the minimum focus distance. It actually feels like a manual focus lens.

I'll post a few photos later after I get them uploaded.

I had planned to spend yesterday shooting with my new lens, but my wife said we had to go to Costco, so I had to satisfy myself with a shot last night while walking the dog, and a couple shots this morning on the way to work.

So far I am very happy with the lens, the focus is faster than the 35/1.4, and the 28/2. I will try to get out with it a bit more this weekend.

Size-wise, the Fuji 14/2.8 is about the same as the new Voigtlander 21/1.8. It is a bit heavier than the other Fuji fixed lenses. It also has a large SLR-style wide-angle hood, which clips on the same way as the other Fuji hoods do. The lens cap is a 58mm.
