i use(d) fuji enlarging lenses and i think they are great. i'm wondering if anyone has any info on them or know of a site that has info about them.
i've never been able to find any.

the 50 is their 'pro' lens the 80 is not.

any info greatly appreciated.

Try a search under Fujinon and see if anything comes up.

When I was looking for a good lens for one of my enlargers way back when,
I found several references to Fujinon lenses that really like them but were
hard to find. I ended up with a Nikkor 50mm F2.8 which was very good.

Fujica never made a bad lens with the name Fujinon on it. All were great. I have 4 primes in screw mount and the 43-75 zoom. All are sharp. Especially the primes. Fujica never got the press of the Nikons, Canons, Minoltas, Zuikos and Takumars. But I never knew anyone with any of the other brands that I thought were better. Not worse, but not better. In fact, I think their multi-coating and flare control was better than most. I agree with using not only fujica and fuji, but fujinon as search words. As far as I know, they are still making large format as well as TV lenses. Good luck in your search.

Yeah, they are still making large format and TV lenses as well as some very nice binoculars.
