I got this over the weekend, and I must say that I like it alot.
It is a large point and shoot camera that comes with all the bells and whistle:
* 60mm lens (translate to roughly 37.5 mm in a 35mm camera)
* It supports, Program, Aperture-priority, and Manual exposure
* It comes with Auto Focus and Zone Focus (i think!)
* Built in Flash and Timer
* Auto advance and rewinds the 120 or 220 film format
* Supports up to ISO 1600 film
As a 6x4.5 camera, I get 16 frames instead of 12 frames for a 6 x 6 camera. The viewfinder is portrait view by default, instead of the landscape view found in normal 35mm cameras.
Here is a sample photo and a link to the full image. The film used is Ultrafine Plus 400 souped in Parodinal which a friend made, but he did not use anti-fogger, hence there is presence of base fog.

I had several of the GS645s cameras (same lens as yours I think, but MF) and liked the photos from it a lot. It needed a yellow filter to give it a bit of "character". Build quality was pretty plasticy. Would still have one but the shutters kept going off and there's no parts for them anymore. I think your camera doesn't have this problem though.
Nice composition, raytoei! I've been trying to figure out what that odd structure is in the background... I have a GA645Wi and like it a lot.
Steve, the GS645S may be plasticky but it does have a nice rangefinder! I don't like the sound of the shot counter indexing though.
All these Fuji 645 rigs had great lenses, as far as I can tell...

That is one of Singapore's new "Integrated Resort" which is basically a casino.

Here's another picture from the GA645, this was photoshopped for high contrast.

congratulations
congratulations
GA645 is a good camera with an excellent lens...even wide open.
I shot with one for 6 or 7 years. It produced high quality 11x14s as long as I did my part properly.
Now that I now longer have a darkroom (or the Fuji) I am hoping my new Panasonic GF1 with 20 mm (40mm equiv.) lens will prove to be a good substitute.
Best wishes with the Fuji!
