Actually the question comes about because I noticed in the KEH catalog that some Fuji models are designated "PRO" while others are not. So I thought it must mean something. Maybe a tougher chassis or . . . ??

No, a different person checked it into the KEH database, which did not miss that detail. All models from the GM670/GL690 on had a big "Professional" somewhere on the name plate.
